This Thursday, join us on Twitter for our monthly #C4Gchat, where we explore companies doing good. Our first TweetChat of the year is, naturally, around 2013 resolutions. We’re excited to have IBM and CDC Development Solutions as our featured guests. We’ll talk about international corporate volunteerism – why it’s a key part of IBM’s CSR portfolio, how the partnership with CDC Development Solutions works, and where the program will grow in 2013.
Please join us by following #C4Gchat at 1 pm ET on Thursday, January 17. Check out IBM's CSC team in Egypt below.
IBM is one of the pioneers in the international corporate volunteering space. Their program, the Corporate Service Corps, sends 10-15 employees to developing markets for four-week assignments that have been pre-scoped by partners such as CDC Development Solutions. You can learn more about IBM’s Corporate Service Corps, public-private partnerships that make this type of engagement possible, and how on-the-ground communities benefit from this program here.
How can you participate? Start by following @Companies4Good, @CitizenIBM, and @CDCDevSolutions On Thursday, January 18, search for #C4Gchat and follow the conversation. Bring your company’s New Year’s resolutions and share them with like-minded businesses and professionals. As we’ll be moderating the discussion, direct all questions to @Companies4Good. See you on the Twitterverse!
