I have wasted countless hours trying to edit email newsletters at Emma. The program to me seems exceptionally buggy. It moves my text around, deletes paragraphs, closes unexpectedly, and in general behaves in incredibly strange and unpredictable ways. Maybe I'm doing something wrong (although I'm far from a novice when it comes to these tasks). All I know is, it's truly maddening, and a huge drag when it comes to, uh, communicating with my audience. (I am currently three hours past an email deadline, for example, and thanks to the weirdness of the program, I'm basically having to start my editing all over again.) Advice would be appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with EmailNow powered by Emma! So, your web browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc) stores data from sites that you visit so that it will remember you the next time you visit. This feature is great to help sites load quickly, but it can also cause some trouble. Many times, clearing your cache is a simple trick to make the application behave as it should and also improve your overall web browsing experience.
If you are pasting from an outside source (Microsoft Word), you may experience some funkiness with the text editor. This is because Word carries over with it some code on the back end that is not necesarrily compatible with Emma or most email providers. Constantly formatting and reformatting can cause issues as well. When this occurs, it's likely you're suffering from HTML Code Buildup, which results from having formatted, reformatted, and formatted again over time (and often the result of pasting in text from another source or re-using an old campaign multiple times). With the text still highlighted, click the unformat icon in the toolbar, located at the bottom of the tool bar next to the HTML button. This will remove all of your text's formatting and allow you to apply a fresh coat using the toolbar.
